#BellyDanceBeauties - Sailor Mercury

Tonight on #BellyDanceBeauties: Sailor Mercury (سايلر ميركوري) from Sailor Moon (سيلور مون).

Remember when I debated on whether to continue with the other Senshi or move on to a different set of characters? Well, I ended up answering my own question when I sketched Sailor Mercury soon after completing the previous one.  The thing with adapting superhero teams like the Sailor Senshi for this project is that their costumes will more or less be uniform.  This helps in keeping them consistent from character to character, but means I have to come up with other ways to differentiate them.  Luckily the Senshi all have unique elemental powers and themes, so to that effect, I gave Mercury a veil to hold while doing (my failed attempt at portraying) waving snake arms.  For not having drawn the veils in too much detail, I think they came out quite well, and Clip Studio Paint's layer management features kept kept them all under control.

Edit 19 Feb 2017: Edited in the manner I teased a little while ago.  I replaced her skirt and legs, recoloured her sandals from light to medium blue, re-did the shading on her torso, and added a floor shadow.
