Folks, I haven't always seen eye-to-eye with the Street Fighter games.  With all the combos and what-not, they always require machine-precise timing for all but the most basic levels of gameplay, and well, button-mashing is an instinct I have yet to overcome.  And when Crapcom Capcom cancelled Mega Man Legends 3 in 2011, that only made matters worse, since from then on, I saw Street Fighter as Capcom's "teacher's pet", that which Capcom gave all their attention whilst leaving the other, forgotten, and (IMO) more deserving corners of their property base even more untended.

That said...

It's not like I don't respect certain aspects of Street Fighter.  Chief among them are its characters, who are not always the most well-developed or even the most culturally sensitive, but they are iconic designs, and that's one honour I would never take away from it.  Especially Chun-Li, she who became the first female to truly represent a fighting game -- and how!

So, moving on, I went to New York Comic-Con last month, and met a number of artist whom I've been stalking here on dA.  One of them was Robaato, whom I purchased a sketchbook from.  It had a *lot* of Chun-Li in it, since she was apparently one of his biggest influences.  And I noticed I hadn't drawn Chun-Li since way back when, so I thought, why not now?  As with my Oh My Goddess series from a lil' while back, I did this with multiple outfits, which are listed at the top of this description for your quick-browsing pleasure.
