Bellydancer Buddies 2015

Way back in 2007, when I had recently joined deviantART and was getting my feet wet with digital drawing and colouring, I did a submission called "Bellydancer Buddies", a crossover with Shantae and Power Stone's Rouge.  I was proud of it at the time, on a composition level, but in retrospect I did not draw it well at all.  Their faces were too long and their hands too short.  So, not too long ago, I decided to remake it, of sorts.  The pose reference I used was a Harlem Shake video I made with sprites from the first Shantae game, back when that was a thing.  And then just a few days ago, I heard silenceyoursword proclaim 2014 as the year of the harem girl.  Huh, wish I had known beforehand.  But at least this means I can use this as the prime capstone for this prime year!
